The World Day of Prayer service is usually held on the first Friday in March. Knox United and Corpus Christie Catholic churches alternate planning and hosting the service. Women and men from various denominations take part in the service which is followed by a time of refreshments and visiting. This is a wonderful way to meet people of differing church backgrounds. World Day of Prayer 2017 was hosted by Corpus Christie Catholic Church.
